讨论渤海之气温舆水温,乃一比较饶有趣味之问题,但在未入本题之先,当先一述渤海之水色关於渤海水色之情形,照理应在本报三卷三期拙著渤海之水文中一併叙述,嗣以该文急於付梓,故水色一项,只可在本文补入。

Before discussing the information concerned with air and surface water temperature in the Gulf of Pechihli and around Shangtung Peninsula, perhaps it is not with out interest to give a brief account of the distribution of water colour during the same period and in the same locality.
