In this paper, following issues are discussed: division of travel zones, representation of trip distribution, a method of searching shortest path models of travel demand, trip distrihu-tion and trip assignment on transport network. The parameters of zone-zone trip distribution model is calibrated by using observed trip distribution between 20 Railway Bureaus of China and between 13 cities of Liaoning Province, and trip assignment model is examined through analyzing interregional trip distribueion at province level ire China and at city and county level in Liaoning Province.
