Since liberation in 1949, we have started our research works in chemical geogra-phy. The present article tries to make a review of major contributions to chemical geography during these thirty years. They are outlined in three parts: (1) a brief history of development of chemical geography; (2) progress in theoretical and appli-ed chemical geography; (3) an outlook.
