西藏为神秘之土,拉萨其首府也。该地情形特殊,气候如何,当为邦人所乐知,然以纪录缺乏。昔虽旅人游客,偶有所录,类皆零星散见,不成片段。民国二十三年,南京气象研究所特遣王廷璋君入藏,历尽艰险,终抵於成,自此神秘之首府始有定期之测候可睹。荏苒至今,瞬已四载,兹就所得之材料,略举概要,以为邦人告!
