摘要

长江流域一年中之雨量集中於夏季,夏季雨量之损益,足以影响年岁之丰收,在长汗流域耕种,以稻作物为主,稻米之产量,占全国平年百分之四五·其重要可以概见。

Abstract

During Ching dynasty from 1644 to 1911, an interval of 268 years, there occurred in the lower Yangtze valley 197 floods and 156 droughts.
