摘要

我国人口问题,过去研究者,不乏其人,在国内有竺可桢翁文灏陈长蘅陈华寅诸氏,在国外则有洛克斯佩克莱西诸氏,或则偏於人口数字之研究,如陈长蘅陈华寅等均是,或则偏於人口分布之研究,如竺可桢翁文灏洛克斯佩克莱西诸氏均是。

Abstract

The Province Anhwei lies between the two great rivers of Yangtse andHwaiho. Along the Yangtse there is a narrow strip of alluvial land where riceis its most important crop.
