The Huangling Anticlinal Region lies in east Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. According to different physiographic factors, the auther divides the Huangling Anticline into five sediment yield zones : I. zone of complex, II. zone of plagioclastic granite, III. zone of quartz diorite, IV. zone of limestone, V. zone of sandstone and limestone.In this paper, the author based on the data observed on the modulus of sediment yield at nine typical small watersheds (0.8- 553.5 km²) in the Huangline Anticline Region, analyzed the different physiographic factors such as thickness of weathering crust.
