Abstract

Coil erosion, with its inseparahle results of recurinQ flnndg and draughts which have long brought disastem and miseries to the people of North China, has ever been the foremost problem in the fundamental control of tine fellow River. In recent yearn, our government has paid great efforts in trying to carry out, in the shortest time possible, a soil conservation project in the middle reaches of that great river where the soil erosion has been known to be in its worst form.
