Abstract

Observations of shelter-belt effects were made by the writer in spring of 1955,in the sand dune region, western Hopei, where dcns}ly planted belts of cedartrees(Thuja Orientalis), with an average height of seven metres and a net of insu-fflation belts of black locust (Robinia Psendoacacia) with an average height of 4 metres wera established.
